Using the virtues as guiding wisdom for creating growth

The Virtuous Growth concept is based on the application of certain virtues in different areas. While these virtues are generally viewed as personal attributes and values, if embodied into business activities, you will find a new level of support for your projects and creations. Choosing to blend their positive energy, vibrations and ideals into your thoughts, communications, actions and reactions, adds a powerful dynamic for the manifestation of your vision.

The Growth Virtues

Virtues empower your thoughts, ideas, activities, projects, work and collaboration at the workplace. In short you can say that they positively affect what you do every day, alone and with other people. Each virtue carries its own wisdom and power and ability to trigger insight. Taking time to explore and study the ones with which you resonate is a worthwhile and powerful endeavor. Consider a practice of embodying them into “Work DNA” behavior and habits. You will be impressed by the power and strength they deliver to impart self- improvement into your actions, reactions, creativity and productivity.

Gandhi on Virtues

Many have talked or written about how they have based their life or work on the virtues. Mahatma Gandhi is one of the greatest examples. He emphasized the following; “A person cannot do right in one department whilst attempting to do wrong in another department. Life is one indivisible whole. ” This illustrates how all your thoughts, words and actions create your reality, and the importance of being mindful to bring positive values, attitudes and actions into your life, job, company, relationships, community and society.

Gandhi wrote seven points of how to approach the 7 deadly sins. It reflects upon how to apply the virtues to avoid the pitfalls of those sins. Many have written about them and the link shares one of them.
